there is no my femininity and your femininity. there is just femininity, a construct that has been studied, observed, theorized, researched, and tracked by feminist scholars among many others for decades. You cannot just come along and decide that reality doesn’t matter, and that you can take any oppressive construct & suddenly decide it’s not oppressive, but empowering & will actually free women & destroy patriarchy. You cannot just do this. This makes everything meaningless. What is the point if language means anything any individual wants, that decades research & theory doesn’t matter, that anything that oppresses you can stop just by choice, what does individualist politics do other than destroy radical movements?
